Our Commitment to Accessibility

BeLiver, a division of Arrow Point Enterprises LLC, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to high-quality nutritional information and our premium beef liver products, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities.

We are committed to ongoing accessibility improvements and welcome feedback from all users. Our current WAVE accessibility score is 7.2/10, and we are actively working to address identified issues to reach our goal of full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.

Measures to Support Accessibility

BeLiver takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website and services:

  • Internal Policies: We include accessibility throughout our internal policies and decision-making processes

  • Staff Training: We provide continual accessibility training for our staff to ensure awareness and implementation of best practices

  • Clear Accountability: We assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities across our team

  • Expert Partnership: We partner with registered dietitian nutritionists to ensure health information is presented clearly and accurately for all users, including those using assistive technologies

  • Regular Testing: We conduct regular accessibility audits using automated tools and manual testing

  • User Feedback: We actively solicit and respond to accessibility feedback from our community

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

BeLiver is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance and have established a roadmap for addressing all known issues.

Additional Accessibility Considerations

Although our goal is WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance, we have implemented the following additional measures:

  • Descriptive Alternative Text: Product images include descriptive alternative text to convey nutritional information, product benefits, and family-oriented messaging

  • Multiple Contact Methods: We provide multiple contact methods (email, phone, and postal address) to accommodate different user preferences and needs

  • Flexible Purchasing Options: We offer multiple ways to purchase, including one-time orders and subscriptions, with clear instructions for each

  • Plain Language: We strive to use clear, plain language in all product descriptions and health information

  • Consistent Navigation: Our website maintains consistent navigation patterns throughout all pages

  • Keyboard Accessibility: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard navigation

  • Color Contrast: We maintain appropriate color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements

  • Responsive Design: Our website adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels

Known Limitations and Alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of BeLiver, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Product Images and Visual Comparisons

Issue: Some complex product comparison images may not convey full context through alternative text alone.

Reason: Visual nutrition comparisons and lifestyle imagery contain multiple data points that are challenging to describe concisely in alt text.

Solution: We are working to supplement visual comparisons with text-based nutritional information and provide detailed product descriptions alongside all images. Please contact us at hi@shopbeliver.com for detailed product information in alternative formats.

Interactive Elements

Issue: Some interactive product configurators may have limited keyboard navigation support.

Reason: We are in the process of enhancing keyboard accessibility for complex interactive components.

Solution: Alternative ordering methods are available by contacting our customer service team directly. We are actively working to improve keyboard navigation across all interactive elements.

Third-Party Integrations

Issue: Some third-party services (payment processors, shipping calculators) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control.

Reason: We integrate with external service providers for payment processing and other functions.

Solution: We carefully select third-party providers with strong accessibility commitments and provide alternative contact methods for users who encounter barriers. You may contact our team directly to complete orders if third-party tools present accessibility challenges.

Assessment Approach

BeLiver has assessed the accessibility of our website and services through the following approaches:

  • Self-Evaluation: Regular internal accessibility audits using automated testing tools (WAVE, axe DevTools)
